Every year the Avantguard Cares Foundation chooses a local family to sponsor for their Annual 5K Fun Run. This year they have the opportunity to bring awareness and help to a young couple and their first child! Gabriella Jane Smith was born on July 20th, 2016. Gabby has a rare series of birth defects named OEIS. We have been told that Gabby will spend a minimum of 4 to 6 months in the NICU at Primary Children's Hospital and very likely longer as she undergoes several surgeries. All money raised will be put towards Gabby's medical bills and to help defray the cost of travel and meals away from home. Gabby's family are Rexburg locals and could use some help from their community to ensure their baby girl can keep fighting on.

*Registration is $25 per person or $80 for groups of 4. The entire fee will go to the Smith family. The $25 fee includes the run, a t-shirt, and breakfast that morning as well as water along the way. You are still able to register the morning of the race, there just might not be a t-shirt for you.
